Wiper Motor Interchangeability

Hi everyone,

I have a seized rear wiper motor in my 2000 Cherokee. Would a 98 Cherokee rear wiper motor be compatible/interchangeable with my model year? I could get mine rebuilt for about $50, but I can pull one from the junkyard from a 98 for about &29. Also, is anyone aware of a resource for checking parts interchangeability. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeepless

Should bee the same, they are the same body style from 97 up. I wouldn't doubt that an older one would work too, just might have different attachment hardware.

One way to check if parts are interchangeable is to look them up on Rock Auto. Get the part # from both years.
This save you and others time.
