Wiper arms...

This is probably a dumb question, but I am installing the cowl snorkel I have been piecing together the past week tomorrow ::weather permitting:: I have been lurking and reading and searching and I have everything perfected and will probably do a write up to add to the other 300 ::did mine a little bit differently::. The one thing I have yet to figure out is the wiper arms. How do I remove them? I searched all over for a diagram to see how they attach/disassemble. With how much it rains here in NJ Breaking one would suck. Any help? Like I said, probably a dumb question. Any help is appreciated as always!

If you look down by where the wiper arm attaches, you should see a small "catch/lever" sticking out the side of the thing. Take a flat screwdriver, gently prise that lever outwards (away from the knob that the wiper arm attaches to,) then lift.

You'll find it useful to clean the thing with a wire wheel and apply some never-seez - if you've got to remove something once, you'll eventually have to remove it again - and you'll want it to be easier next time...

Thanks a lot. Just went out and checked it out. Think I got the idea. Just had to get a new perspective... Can't really see with out hopping on the hood anymore. I'll take your advice and grease them up when I finish.

I was JUST on your site 15 minutes ago looking at your HD battery cables. Been looking at them on and off lately as I upgrade. Probably shoot you a PM for some help in picking out what kit to go with in the near future
