The newer HO head will swap with no problems. From what I remember the only difference is that the exhaust ports are different. The HO intake/exhaust will only work for the HO head. I just did the HO head and intake/exhaust swap and its pretty straight forward. You will use the HO throttle body and IAC sensor but will have to make an adapter to use the Renix TPS on the newer throttle body. Swapping to the HO head won't make it a HO engine though.

Thanks parnell, i know it wont be a HO motor just looking for the best flowing head that i can get the best performance out of even after port n polishing.

With this head is it possible or even worth using the new 00 style intake?

Thanks Again

Hi parnell, How did you go about making an adapter for the Renix TPS to work with the newer throttle body?
Do you know where I might find more info on this? Do you have any other advice on this? Thanks for your
time.

The intake ports are different and exhaust ports almost identical if not so. The "floor" of the HO ports is higher than the Renix and where the top of the intake port is on the HO, there is a dogleg next to the injector on the Renix intake. Injector position is fine. I'm doing an HO into Renix swap right now. I have decided to use the Renix intake/exhaust gasket as it will offer better sealing along the top edge of the intake manifold. If you were to port match the head and intake, you would have to lower the floor of the intake ports and slightly reshape the roof of the intake. I haven't decided if I'm gonna mess with it since it's not a high revving motor anyway.
