Just wondering if they will fit my father has a decent set left over from his old truck.

Most will say it will fit with stock rims. But you may have some minor rubbing on your lower control arms when turning.

I rock 30x9.5x15's on ravines (15x8) with no rubbing, but I've got 5.xx b/s on these wheels.

you should be alright. maybe lil on u turns, or full flexes, you might rub a tad.

you can go with 235s, which is only 6mm skinnier, then you'll be good.

Yes they will, they will rub though at full lock most likley. Now please for the love of god people, when creating a thread that will be entitled "Can "blank" tire size fit on stock suspension" USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. Latley these are coming up sooooooooooooo frequently.

I have to admit that the search function on this website is not that great *unless i'm missing something*

I can't even search for specific sub forum! I ask one question, and I get response from all sorts of jeeps

then be really specific with your search, IE include "cherokee" in your inquiry. Also, for a question as common as this, Type control F "tire size stock suspension" or something, search the page, if nothing comes up, hit page 2 and repeat. You WILL find it within 2 or 3 pages, considering the number of these threads.
