Who wants a JL Audio Stealthbox?

I emailed JL and told them there is some pent-up demand from the XJ crowd. They are interested in perhaps making another limited run of them, but need to know how many folks are really interested.

With a little work and alot less $ in materials you can make your own and it will fit a 10" instead of an 8"

The JL unit is for a 10" sub...

And show me a home-made unit that looks as good as this...

I remember seeing a write-up not too long ago with a true stealthy approach to mounting speakers in the same place. Searched, but did not find it. Good write-up though if anyone does find it.

You talking about the one guy that made his own with MDF and then covered the grill with cloth?

I dont want to sound like a complete idiot but i dont remember how he did it, I guess i was just checking out pictures that day.

It looked factory, you couldnt tell anything was there.

It would be nice if someone came up with a way to mount the speakers a little higher, without looking ridiculous, to keep them dry in the case of a run-in with a creek or what have you.
