What Transfer Case do I have?
Its an 85 Cherokee Chief with 2.5L and 5speed tranny Command Trac. My transfer case has 2HI 4HI N 4LO in order. I heard it was the NP207 but then i hear people say its an NP231. What are the pros and cons of my T-case? Do they make an SYE kit for it? Thanks alot.

According to the info in the specs post you would have the NP207. It has a slightly higher low range ratio 2.61:1 as opposed to 2.72:1 on the NP231. I'm not sure what the other differences are but I seem to remember that the 207 was also slightly weaker than the 231. Don't quote me on that - I have no data to back it up.
