What is this and should it be connected?

Was milling around and saw this. What is it? Should I hook it up? 89 xj 4x4

I believe that's the power feed to your HVAC blower motor and the other end of the connector is right there behind it in your picture.

Odd. Someone else suggested that but the a.c. works fine. Someone else said its for the hood light.

I have an 89 Renix, when I get out of work today I'll take a look and see what/if mine is connected to and report back if it's not solved.

I've found a few of these disconnected things around my car. One on the tailgate that, if connected, shorts the fuse for blinkers and most of your lights.

Thanx that would be great. Latest thing I've found on it was its to the abs system. They get disconnected to pass inspection.

I haven't been able to get out there and play with the thing in a few days. I'm gonna put in some seats I bought and cleaned up tomorrow. Ill play with it then.

I have like 4 different disconnected plugs around my jeep. Everything is functional, so i simply leave them as is. If theres no problem, dont fix it.
