Definitely some adj. control arms maybe a new trackbar... for that price, there are other kits out there that include what you need.

The trac-bar will need addressed and you will likely need longer swaybar endlinks or disconnects. The control arms will be fine for 3" of lift and I wouldn't replace them unless your current bushings are shot. The reason I say that is because the arms for a 3" lift are only 1/4" longer than stock, but if you add more lift later you will need longer arms and you don't want to swap them twice. If you do swap them now go with adjustables like stated above, then you will be good for more lift later.

I'm running 3" lift coils and an AAL, nothing else, stock LCAs and track bar, although it is a little off center, still drives perfectly fine.

So other than the basics, like leafs, coils and shocks, I should want a kit that offers:
Sway bar relocation/discos A new trac bar Brake lines And maybe control arms. Anything else other than an sye/tcase that I may need? |

You can use the kit above without anything else, but the front axle will be pulled toward the drivers side by a small amount. The swaybar will be pulled back very close to the coils too. You can drill a new hole for the trac bar on the axle mount and fix that problem, or leave it as is if it doesn't bother you. Mine is still with the stock trac-bar and pulled over but it is hardly noticeable. The swaybar is hit or miss, some need the longer links and some don't. The control arms won't really make much difference as the ones for 3" of lift are only 1/4" longer than stock ones. I would go with the rusty's kit if it was what you liked and add disconnects and a good trac-bar and double shear bracket like the IRO set-up later if it were me. Hardly any kits come with everything you need, some come with different things. But you will be okay running the rusty's kit by itself if wanted.

So, now I am seriously trying to find a good lift with the components I need. In addition to that, because I will likely be adding a tire carrier rear bumper to my XJ, I should definitely get a kit with full leaf packs. So now I am weighing options on what to get. I like the IRO 3" kit with full leafs and a trac bar, I think I will probably get that when the time comes, but I am also keeping RE's 3.5 Superflex and the Rusty's kid in mind as well.
