What to do with oxygen sensor?

Hi there everyone,

I have a 1994 cherokee sport 4.0
I'm planning on putting a 2.5 inch exhaust pipe and taking my cat off. im leaving the stock muffler. how will it sound?
Is the oxygen sensor in the cat? Where can i put it or what should i do with it? i would like to know everything before i do these things.

Theres only one 02 sensor in the 94. Its on the head pipe..

i dont live in the US. where i live the rule is: as long as u have a muffler its good.
