Where the 3.55 suck most with 30" tires is when you have to back up on a steep road or trail.

Especially when backing up a steep trail for a few hundred yards - like I had to do a week ago.

Really heats up the transmission.

Backing up any distance off road or in sand strains and heats up torque converter and tranny, and power in reverse is weak.

Sure 4 Lo solves that on low traction surfaces, but can't be usd on high traction surfaces.

Reverse is not as low as 1st.
