Went wheelin today

I was suppose to meet up with my fellow NorCal XJs club members up at Prairie City but there was a huge pile up on the main highway (the only one that I know of) that you take to get there. So since I was with acouple local buddies we decided to go to Hollister. Oh man it was fun. I had to pull my friend's F-250 up half the d*mn hill. F-250 Recovery Team? However I got stuck on this slippery hill (it was raining) and my other bud pulled me with his winch. It was the first time he used the winch and it worked well. We wrapped it around the front of my axle cause I don't have a front tow point. However it worked very well. Anyway I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take any pics. But there was another camera there so I may get some of the pictures eventually. Fun stuff.

I apologize to all the NorCalXJ members who were at PC. The highway going there was blocked and there would have been no way to get there.

PC was pretty fun today. There were soooo many Xjs there, i'm not even sure how many were NorCalXJs.. Everyone got acquainted with eachother and wondered where you were... At least you were actually wheeling somewhere and not stranded on the highway all day. Oh well, maybe things will work out a little better next time...

BTW There's pics from today floating around... Lets see em!

Yeah, sucks that you weren't there, but from what I've heard Hollister is pretty cool too. I'm hoping to get out there next month. Other than some pretty bad vibes on the freeway (which eventually went away), I got no damage whatsoever. I did follow Chase home and left with his old tire-carrirer though. So now I'm riding pround with my too-small 215 on my roof. Thanks again, Chase!
