well its final, the 93 is totalled!

so, the guys insurance is paying me out 3100 and i get to keep it. i will sell it and hopefully get about 15-18 for it with the body damage. after, i will then have around 4500 or so for a new rig. im lookin at a 96 tomorrow... anythign particular i should look at on this year? its a 1996 cherokee country with tow package, power everything, abs, etc. the guy wants 3800. i think thats a little too high.

That price depends on mileage and overall condition. For your average 96 xj though that would be a little high probably.

I got my '96 Sport w/163k for $1800. Given it's kinda striped down but I wouldn't near $3800 for a '96. For $3800 you could easily get a '97-'99, at least up here.

the jeep is totalled by insurance's standards, but i still drive it everyday. the dors still open and stuff. just needs a new quarter panel and taillight. 97-01's down here are going for 4900-10,000... i wish i lived up north where they are cheap! GR

Ouch! I'd try and talk the guy as close to $3k as you can. Or just show up with cash in hand. Money talk and BS walks.
