Weatherstripping kits for XJ

I'm having trouble finding complete door-kits or comprehensive parts list for fully weatherstripping my 1996 Jeep XJ (i.e. doorframe gasket, window channel and rain molding, fixed wing-glass rubber, rear cargo glass & door gasket etc.)
Any help with links or referrals out there?

i'd talk to a glass shop. they might be able to order it or make a set for you and charge you less since you're doing it yourself.

If you do this please post up the results. I've been debating doing this myself but wasn't sure if the results would justify the price of the teamcherokee kit.

YEAH, I ordered a door seal kit from "Team Cherokee". Says it fits both 2 and 4 doors as they are "cut down for the 4 door". Yup, thats bull****, they don't fit the 2 door model, its about 6 inches short.

Best part for me was I installed it all the way before I found out. Go team cherokee!! F that place.

Go to napa, get a roll of bulk weatherstripping. They'll have different types available. Half the cost, half the hassle.

Took a phone call to Team Cherokee to work out the full order. Frankly, their site descriptions for these parts are a bit confusing. But here's what I got after discussing it with them to completely re-do the weatherstripping on all four doors and the back cargo hatch:

1 Master Weatherstrip Set 4 Door Cherokee 1984-1996 $299.95
(contains all four door seals and rear hatch seal, plus the interior and exterior window wipe seals)

2 Secondary Rain Molding Seal OEM XJ 1984-1996 @$14.95 $29.90
(inside front door along windshield post, prevents rain blowing in.)

1 Tailgate Glass Seal OEM Cherokee 1984-1996 - OE 84-96 TAILGATE GLASS SEAL#55007134 $44.95
(Master weatherstripping kit has door seal, but I needed window glass seal too)

1 Division Bar Glass Run Weatherstrip Channel Cherokee & Comanche 1984-1996 - PR DIVISION BAR SEALS#55002337 $189.95
(This is the pair of vertical "cat whisker" seals that run between the front windows and fixed wing window. They're EXPENSIVE )

1 Hood Cowl Seal OEM Cherokee & Comanche 1984-2001 - CHEROKEE COWL SEAL 84-01#55235178 $14.95
(For $15, might as well while I'm at it...!)

(Then there's the remaining vertical and top channels to buy...)
1 Window Channel OEM Front Door Cherokee & Comanche 1984-1996 - DRIVERSIDE CHANNEL $36.95
1 Window Channel OEM Front Door Cherokee & Comanche 1984-1996 - PASSENGERSIDE CHANNEL $36.95
1 Window Channel Rear OEM Door Cherokee 1984-1996 - DRIVERSIDE REAR CHANNEL $48.95
1 Window Channel Rear OEM Door Cherokee 1984-1996 - PASSENGERSIDE REAR CHANNEL $48.95

(And some clips to replace what we break changing them out)
2 Door Wipe Clips XJ 1984-1996 @$18.95 $37.90

Domestic Shipping/Handling $38.20
(They graciously gave me free shipping, your results may vary)

Total: $789.40
Grand Total: $827.60

(Ouch, but it could have been worse.)

Yeah dude, like I said, good luck with the fitment. For $800 you could buy another jeep.

yeah. when it's all added up like that it sounds totally ridiculous.

for $800 i'm pretty sure you could almost get a set of ACOS Pros or an ECTED locker and your XJ would be way cooler than one with better weatherstripping.

I need a set of Division bar Weather strips for 87 comanche. Is there a way to make them yourself? $189.00 is silly - can get a new door for that I suppose. Any engineers in the house that can customize ? If so email me @ Zesauce@hotmail.com Put Jeep Comanche in Subject. Thanks.

I'm most interested to know how this worked in terms of cabin noise level. I have no water leaks but a ton of road noise. I know its never going to be as quiet as a Cadillac but not having to yell to your passenger would be nice.
