What you describe sounds like it very possibly is a marginal battery. Stalling and having to feather the throttle are classic symptoms of not enough voltage to keep the engine management system happy. As the engine runs for a while and the alternator charges it up a bit, it finally develops enough voltage to keep the engine mgmt. system supplied with juice and you are no longer symptomatic.
Start with having your battery LOAD TESTED. (also be sure battery cables/posts are shiny clean)
Load testing is the ONLY conclusive way of determining battery condition. Many parts stores will do this for you for free in the hopes of selling you a new one if you need it.
There are other possibilities but my money is on the battery and it must be eliminated first as a possible root cause.
Good luck and let us know what you find!

I alrady had the battery and alternator tested there both good and the battery is pushing 120 more cold cranking amps then it's rated for

With the battery checking out, test the THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR.
