Vent Window Latch Popped Off... How to Reattach?

I was trying to tighten up the loose space between the window frame and the vent window latch. I guess I pulled a little too much and it popped off in my hand. The outside portion shot off into the grass. I recovered all the pieces and it looks pretty simple to attach but I can't get it to work.

It looks like there might be a thin hole in the lever with a pin but I'm not sure. Kind of smashed in there. Anyone know how to reattach this?

Thanks!

You're right, there's a pin that goes through the inside lever.
Pull that pin, the inside section comes off.
Then there's just a nut that holds the outer black dot part in.
If it fell apart, it might not be salvageable.

Sounds like the oin broke to show you the screw to the outside was broke.
i used a #4 nail with the point cut off to push mine out. Then you canpull the lever off of the
Inside. There is a screw on mine that holds it to the window.
you should be able to find one at the junkyard easy enough. Any gm vehicle
