**** UPDATE: **** just got worse!

I have a 93 4.0 Cherokee w/automatic trans. The tranny now slips when i take off and seems to be fully engaged after I get into 2nd gear...once i get beyaond 1st gear everything seems to be just fine. When im at a stop it will slip as i take off but if i shift down to "1" it grabs just fine on takeoff. I just got done changing the trans filter and refilled with new proper fluid. Any ideas at all what else I can look into before sending it to the shop? Also ,when i used to punch it it would jump a few gears down to quickly pick up speed.... now when its punched all i get is a gradual increase with no gear shifts ... very odd.. any suggestions at all majorly appreciated...

NEW UPDATE: now my jeep stalled and will not start . Help please
