U Joints and Unit Bearing

I have some weird sounds coming from the pass side (up at the front wheel). Assuming it is either the axle u joint or the unit bearing... I may just replace both since the vehicle is 12 years old. Are the drive shaft u joints and the axle u joints the same?? was looking at this one

http://www.quadratec.com/products/52302_101.htm

is this the correct one for the axle?? Also the cost of the unit bearing varies like crazy, saw one for $250 and then all the way down to $40ish.... there is one on the Quadratec

what do you guys think?

For a 2000 model dana 30 you will need the 297 u-joints, the 260's came in the older pre '95 models without ABS.
