Turn signals not working............

so i did a search but couldn't find any previous posts. i have a 2000 XJ and just the other day i noticed my turn signals don't work. whether i signal left or right, the indicators on my dash don't work neither do the actual turn signal lights front and back. when i use the turn signal lever on my steering column for my high beams that works. so today i replaced my flasher relay under my dash and checked the fuse in the fuse box by the passenger kick panel and it looks good. what could it be? thanks.

It is possibly the turn signal lever. They do go bad after a while. Check out the FAQ section for a write-up. It is easy to change on 1997+ XJs.
