u need to re-map the fuel and timing plus run larger injectors, or you will detonate, run lean and brake ring lands. i made my own kit for my car. and i can run 12 psi without detonation and i drive every day to work no problems. my friends think they can get away with the stock timing and fuel map. they blow up engines all the time. you have to put more fuel because you have more air! just pay the extra money so you don't have to replace your engine which is a pain! i have 170k miles on my engine!fyi you must get a wide band o2 sensor cause you don;t want to go below 11.5 to 1 under boost! there are alot of other methoods to get more fuel, but the best way is to use the factory computer with a tuned map for your application. other methoods are chancy at best. they might work for now,, but why take a chance?
