The tube doors look really good.

Just an idea, if you do build speaker enclosures, maybe look for something marine grade. Infinity has 6-1/2" 2-way's that are waterproof.

FWIW, these are some tube doors a friend of mine built for his XJ truggy a few years ago (doesn't feel like that long but that photo was taken in 2005!

). I'm sure some of you will recognize the vehicle. The front triangular section with the diamond plate houses his door speakers. I think he just used the 5.25s out of his stock doors.

Nope just used my tube bender for both upper bends. The trick was to get both bends to fit without interference of the die.

Yes. 4.5" radius

im not big on going doorless on a XJ or ZJ. but those tube doors look great, the welds are nice too. good job!

i love the doors! i am going to try and make a set for my xj in tech class, but i have a question.

what latches did you use? i have been searching all over and can't seem to find the same ones you have.

Wow those are great, I designed some on AutoCAD a couple months ago, and it looks like you pretty much stole my idea!

So I guess just send me a set and we'll call it even.

Thats crazy, pretty much the exact same design, they look great and the welds do look really nice. Good job on the project! Also ur rig is amazing, very nice job.

Thats funny I have been running the same design for 3 years now. I just decided to add the handles a 1 1/2 years ago.
