Hello everyone,

I just bought it and i made a mistake before checking this up, im riding 2 doors 99 4.0l xj with manual tranny, will i be able to install the oil cooler or its just for auto tranny ? And if yes i need your advise where i can install it because i have installed two electric fans behind the front grill.

Tranny coolers are for the autos' fluids. Manual transmissions have a small amount of oil that stays in the case. So no worries on trying to fit it in.

You would or should or really don't or can't use an oil cooler for a manual transmission. There is no pump so no circulation of oil. I am not sure of the oil cooler you choose. There are oil coolers for the engine oil. I haven't done that yet, but it is on my list. Probably do it to the Comanche which is a manual. A lot of cooling of the engine is done by the engine oil.
