Transmission coolant hose... How to replace??
the rubber section on one of my transmission cooler lines has a cut in it, so i need to replace it. my question is how do i remove this section of rubber hose? one side is the quick connect fitting which i have the tool for, but the other side looks like it is just clamped around the hard line? how do i remove/reinstall this fitting? any help is appreciated...

Yeah that would work but eventually those crimps are gonna start to leak (common problem) most guys cut them off both lines and use clamps . Do a search on tranny cooler lines and you'll find what i mean .
