Tranny issue, Computer issue? HELP!

I'm A newbie so bear with me please. I have a 97 Cherokee RHD for my postal route and i'm having trouble with it shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, and when it decides to shift it just kicks out to neutral. It doesn't do it all the time so the mechanics have ruled out any structural damage to the tranny itself. The first repair was the prindal switch, NOT the problem. 2nd repair was a TCM, also NOT the problem. So in a months time i've shelled out $1300.00 for repairs that did not need to be made. So if anyone has ever come across anything like this I would appreciate whatever help you could give. thanks

if its doing it, use the shifter, put it in 1-2 then get the rpms up to like 3000, go to 3, if it still gives you the prob, its the tranny, if not, its electric

a good flush and fluid/filter replacement would be a good idea
