when do u turn it on? when it gets a little warm, but not warm enough to trigger the fan to run?
Not sure how others do it, but I usually leave mine turned off, until it starts getting to the 200º mark. Or if I know we'll be sitting in a line up for a while.

the FSM says when running an aux trans cooler to go through the radiator cooler, then the aux cooler.

i was reading through Jason's writeup on how to install it and he bypassed it as well, but he's in Texas where its warm all the time. the B&M instructions say to run it through the radiator as well.

how would i run it through the radiator and tranny cooler.

Let the tranny go into the radiator as it does from the factory. Then take the outlet hose from the radiator and hook it into the cooler. Then take the outlet hose from the cooler and run it back to the tranny return line.

alright cool, thats what i did...at least i think i did...lol

i took the rubber hose right near the pitman arm and took the end out of the radiator (rubber part) and put it in the top of the cooler, and the lower part of the cooler, i took it back to the OEM hose.

is that right?

im off to the store to pick up some more hose clamps

lol, i didnt look close from where i was lying...lol
but thanks anyways. i didnt get to drive it far enough to see if the gauge actually worked, i just drove it to make sure it still drove. so it didnt heat up enough to register on the gauge.
