Tow hooks- anyone used these?
Found these on amazon, and I was curious if anyone has used them or had any experience with them. Im looking to get some for mine...as a "just in case"
http://www.amazon.com/Rugged-Ridge-11236-05-Black-Front/dp/B000FPY63M/ref=au_pf_pfg_s?ie=UTF8&Model=Cherokee%7C347&n=15684181&s=automotive&Make=Jeep%7C42&Year=2000%7C2000&vehicleType=automotive&newCar=1&carId=001
Or these ones as well
http://csloffroad.com/jeepxjtowhooks.aspx
They look like they direct bolt on? Relatively new to any Jeep, so I'm not exactly sure.
Thanks!
Josh

I havent used them but they look like any other tow hook for the xj. And yes, they are basically bolt on. if i remember right. maybe some cutting, and removal of the front bumper. But DEF worth it.

Those ( http://csloffroad.com/jeepxjtowhooks.aspx ) are ZJ Grand Cherokee tow hooks and they are assembled incorrectly.

I have the Rusty's ones and they were easy to bolt on. I had to trim the plastic under the bumper but no big deal.

Another great option, which wont go for much more, are the IRO tow hooks, they have a bit more bracing for side pulls.

I'm looking into the IRO tow hooks right now, I'm just worried about how they might interfer with things on my stock bumper. They don't mount exactly the same as stock. Does anyone have any pictures of the IRO's installed on a stock bumper?

X2 for the IRO I will be going with their towhook setup before I change to a Winchbumper on my XJ . I like how it ties the left and right side together, and I will be using it with a D-ring adapter

The iro mounts in where the towhook brackets would. that pic above looks to be a cut down front bumper.

the pic Tom95YJ posted is a cut stock bumper, but i'd say from the looks of the picture itll clear the stock bumper but you might have to get rid of whatever trim goes along under the bumper or you might have to cut holes for the hooks/d-ring to clear. just my oponion from the picture
