still flabbergasted by your build.. dig the cheap paint job too, does it look as good up close in person as it does in those pics?

Wow. So I found myself deep into this thread. I just spend the last hour and 46 minutes reading from page 1 to page 27.
I have alot of thoughts, but most of it was little comments on stuff that happened like in 08. One thing I really have gotten out of this, is pure motivation to do well in college the next four years so I can live a life half as cool as yours. Having a 13 year old son helping you tack weld something for one of the most capable DD/offroad machines I have ever laid eyes on? If thats the coolest thing ever, I dont know what is Kudo's to you man. This is a work of art. EDIT: Oh yeah, I am sure you have alot on your plate, but have you ever thought of making a second book for the advanced things you are doing here?? I own the first one, and have read it cover to cover countless times. I think if it were as big as the Encyclopedia, I would still read it all...just sayin

Thanks very much and yes I am considering doing a follow-up book on some advanced modifications.

Hmmm, I could always help you showcase some mods, by way of a few cool pics in the new book....

It's a cheep alternative to after market bump stops. I keep meaning to pick some up, but I don't need them with my current set up, so they keep taking a back seat to other costs.

They're used for bumstop extensions. You can drill holes and bolt them down (which is how aftermarket bumstop pucks mount), or glue them down using epoxy.

Frame stiffeners
After reading your how to on frame stiffeners, I was curious as to why you didn't continue to the rear. Does it even add a benefit?

I'm sure it does add some benefit, I just haven't gotten around to doing it. I have plans for that though.
