I just read through the whole thing (again).

It was great to meet you, and your spotting helped a lot on slickrock!

Quick question, can I get the link for the muffler you installed?

My flowmaster is off of a ranger, so it's all crooked and ugly, I need something smaller.

I have the part numbers listed on the main page of my website. Then go to Summitracing.com and do a search on those parts. That should work.

At first I was going to continue this thread by adding the cage build to it, but its pretty long already. I started a new thread for the cage build.

"Eric's cage build" -> http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/erics-cage-build-833099/

You have built my Dream Jeep. One day my Jeep will grow to be similar to this.

I just spent 7 hrs reading this on my blackberry while playing with my son. This jeep and you are an inspiration to me on what my plans are for my xj. I thank you for the time and thought you put into your xj so we all could learn from your mistakes (if there were any, not from what I read). Sweet XJ!

Thanks. Most of what you see here in this thread is mentioned in the book but the book is more geared toward getting the beginner up to speed on knowing the in's and out's of their XJ and then showing what you need to upgrade. But you won't be disappointed! I refer to my book often - just yesterday I pulled it out to look something up. A good thing to have on everyone's Christmas List

I was pretty happy when I went to the local barnes and noble, and found it on the shelf.

After almost rolling twice this past weekend, I think it might be time for a cage like yours Eric. Plus my gf started asking lots of questions about what would happen to the Jeep if we rolled and my answers weren't exactly reassuring.

Oh yeah, got a winch installed on my non-winch Rigidco bumper. The writeup on your website helped out a ton and the winch fit perfectly. Absolutely no change to my approach angle and doesn't block much of the radiator.

Hey Eric,

Do you remember what you used to seal the patch plate in between the tacks?

Thanks a bunch!

I used a good quality 100% silicone sealant that you can find at any Home Depot or Lowes.

How is your project coming along?
