Actually after returning from a hard week in Moab I need to just do damage control / maintenance by going through it and tightening things in the front end. In the meantime the wallet needs a little time to recover (and so the wife doesn't get too mad). But yes I have lots more I hope to get done this winter.

Hey thanks! Which rig was yours / which trail did we do together?

I am hoping to finish my write-up on the event hopefully in the next couple days.

I just wanted to say that Erics Rocker replacement is the best I have ever seen. I got to wheel with Eric and his rig in Moab for the 25th Annicersary of the XJ. It is an amazing rig and is very clean and well taken care of. Eric is a true professional when it comes to fabrication. I am happy to say I concider Eric a good friend and you could not find a better person. Nice job Eric on such an amazing Jeep.

I was not on any of your trails with you but got to see alot of pics. Oh and I was a judge at the show n shine. Yours was definitely one of the top contenders! Next spring, after the IC on the Rocks in Moab, I'll be doing the whole replace the rockers and new TNT lift kit. Thanks for the inspirations. I thought I was about done with my rig until I crawled under yours! My wife is very much less than happy about my new plans! What can you do?!?!?!

Thanks Josh. I'm flattered that mine was a top contender but I know its still got some work needed before I would consider it at that level. For example it really needs a cage which is one of the next things on my list to do. I was grabbing ideas from Cruzin's rig and others on that. I'm glad his won because it is what I would consider a "complete" rig. I don't know what else I'd do to his to make it better but I'm sure he's always got some new plans in the works.

If I even started into my newest XJ like you, I would catch extreme heat from the wifey.

That being said, she knows I didn't trade in a 5spd Vibe for another Cherokee just to burn more dinosaurs.

The stock set up will last no later than next spring. Then I will do some unauthorized suspension upgrades.

Hopefully that will be this winter's project. Just waiting on the wallet to recover which means I'll be hard pressed until after Christmas.

I completely understand. My wife has had a heart attack with the little amount of money I have spent so far......well the engine was a little expensive.
