Tail light and turn signal problem

Hey everyone i am new to this forum. this is my first jeep. my friend gave it to me after he joined the army. it is completely stock and has been sitting all winter. Heres the problem.. It has always had tail light problems but now the turn signals dont work as well. Is this a common problem? is there an easy fix? last summer i remember my friend would replace the bulbs and it would work for a few days and then they would go out again. the turn signals always worked though. any feedback would be greatly apreciated i would realy like to get it out on the road again.
Thanks Riff

Check the flasher and make sure it's good. If it has wiring for a trailer check that also, make sure the bulbs are good and check the grounds. The ground for the rear harness in inside the cab behind the spare tire. Remove that cover and make sure the ground is clean and tight.

Find a pot hole and run through it. My signals starting working right after that.

I pulled the flasher and the break light switch i am going to replace those just in case. I also checked the ground for the rear assembly and it is clean and tight. What bulbs do i need to get? there are four in the tail light assembly and they all look like they are different. I would like to replace all of those with the right bulb just in case they are the wrong ones. Three big ones and one small one in each assembly.
