They're just fine. Basically a copy of the JB Conversions SYE kit. We've sold a ton and I've installed a number of them myself on customers' rigs too.

I'm wandering about this as well. Would this be too much for a 4.5" long arm?

Anyone know who makes a CV drive shaft for an XJ that will work, or how long of one I need?

Rubicon Express, Tom Wood, High Angle Driveline... just about anybody that does driveshafts. And with the HD SYE kits, if you want to go the cheap route and can find one in good condition, you can use the front driveshaft out of an automatic XJ.

You can get a stock front shaft from a Auto/NP231 equipped XJ and use that. REALLY check the sucker out and rebuild if necessary. Or just flat out rebuild it for piece of mind.
