10 watts stock
5 1/4" front and back
virtually any speaker such as bose, sony, blaupunkt will sound better. just check for super sales at any store, and realize that the stock size speakers really can't pump out decent bass....consider a subwoofer for the back "cubby" in the cargo area to balance out the smallish stock size speakers.

I believe they are 5.25" all around. I got some sony Xplode's from walmart that I am very happy with for about $80. I have no idea what the factory speaker wattage is the speakers I put in are 160 peak.

80 for all four about $40 a pair. I believe you can fit up to 6.5" in the doors. when I installed the explodes I had tons of extra room, they actually seemed like they were to small because the fram on the facory speakers was so big.

speakers. Not sure why people forget about these, but there are 2 speakers under the dash on the left and right side of the cherokees. Its the lower instrument panel speakers. I dont know what size they are but likely just tweeters. i recommend getting these as they add good sound

I just picked up my first jeep not to long ago.. I think mine only has two front door speakers. I did a search and see what comes up for audio stuff. I think this thread will be beneficial for you OP. Good to know about the 2 speaker locations under the dash! i wish I kept my tweeters from my last car now
