starting problems

Hi my name is dustin I have a 90 xj sport im cerently running in ti problems with my jeep not starting I have replaced all most every thing from the fuel pump to the crank sender and it as great fuel pressure and spark but it seems like the injectors are not palsating I was wounded if the distributor would have something to do with this thank you

ill it start with starting fluid. That will tell you is you have a fuel issue.
What color is the spark?
You need bright BLUE and a quick SNAPPING spark.

It is a snapping spark and it will start with starting fluid

Then it is fuel issue. What is your pressure? When the key is on and when you try to start it. Have you checked fuses? Have you tried to jump the ballast resistor? It is a white ceramic block on the drivers fender. Take a small wire and connect the two wires together.

I ve jumped to white resiter and the fuel press is 40 when I turn on the key and drops to 15psi and I've checked all the relays and fuses

You have a bad regulator. Pull the vacuum line off it and try it, but it may not help. It needs to be replaced.

Or a bad fuel pump.

And just for clarification on the distributor, you can unplug the little harness on a REnix dizzy and it will still run.

OP said new fuel pump, but it could have been bad out of the box. It happens more often than not.
