Speakers in XJ backseat or rear passenger doors. Anyone?

Hi im looking for a speaker mod thread or log with pictures of someone putting speakers in their back passenger doors on their XJ.
Anyone done this or know a good source for pics of the mod?

i havent heard of anyone doing this mod because you get a lil better sound quality out of the rear soundbar...im looking at doing a custom sum inclosure in the cargo area in the rear using the existing plastic interior on the adjacent side to the spare tire mount. using some mdf and other means to secure it so its wheel worthy..and to mount an amp to power the sub in a location it wont overheat and also stay secured if wheeling...i need the cargo space as i have a 10 month old and strollers and other things take up quite a bit of space...so no box with a sub for me...

I may have to go with a sound bar also. my cargo area is going to be enclosed with tool bins and stuff

I remember seeing where someone had put speakers in the rear doors, it was a few years ago, i cant remember where i saw it.

But i second the sound bar option, speakers pointed at your feet don't sound to well. And if you had to fold the rear seat down the speakers in the doors would be muffled by it.

As for subs I have an Infinity Basslink mounted to the back of the rear seat and it takes up very little cargo room, i can still carry all my tools, extra supplies, and the still have enough room to fit a stroller.

i used to do customizations on imports and street scene cars and helped to contribute to a few show winners at HIN...i do fold down the seats for increasing my cargo capacity here and there so having that space to be utilized often im looking at fabbing up something to fit and still resonate and maintain the current space...depending on what i see when i remove that panel ill go with either a 10 or 12" sub and maybe push 600watts or so aint into the vibrate till your car falls apart bass...just clean clear sound
