slick rock tube flares (teaser pics)

I got home today from work, to see brown santa in front of my house, ready to give me a 55 lb gift. I got them prepped and painted today (the brick color is the color it was primed from slick rock). Here are some teaser pics, there will be MANY more pics, including an in-depth writeup on how to install them. So far, my reaction is "wow, these things are beefy."

Did you add that spacer ontop of 4.5" springs? If so what are you running in the rear and do you have any current pics of that setup?

I like the design but I wish they would use round tube for the flares, would look 10x better with round tubing IMHO. Can't wait to see final install pics though.

yes, I did, but that's because I have a tube bumper on there, and had these on the way. The spacer up front just evens me out in the rear.

Jason, I was thinking the same thing in the shower today, but then realized that it wouldnt go with the overall feel of the XJ, as it is mostly boxy itself. That, and it's only 1/2" tube, so you can't really tell from some distance, other than it has a corner.
