Side Steps
I have a 2000 Cherokee that I use to transport bikes, canoes, etc., and I have Mopar side steps that have rusted pretty badly. I need some advice on what I should buy to replace them...I am short enough (5-8) that I really need these to help me tie stuff on, not just for looks. The Mopar ones seem to be pretty poorly designed with slotted attachment points that always allow the bars to move no matter how hard they are tightened. Any advice is appreciated. Looking for:
1. designed well/easy to install to existing frame holes/rock solid once installed 2. no rust...powdercoated or stainless, but prefer black 3. made to be used for access to the top, not just for looks Thanks! Brian

Do you offroad much? If you do, a set of rock rails with steps would be a good solution. That would offer a step and rocker protection.

Before all of you hardcore guys start flaming me, there are no rocks in south Ga or north Fl. I have the Westin nerf bars with steps and have been very happy with them. They bolt to the frame and are very solid for STANDING on. They will keep small brushes off your side also. Ok, let the flaming begin.
