i have an overhead console on my 92 and i just bolted the mount to it, you can't fit a big radio comfortably anywhere else I think... i have a 148gtl and so far I haven't bashed my head off of it while riding

Mounted mine on the passenger side of the hump: http://reviews.jeepforum.com/showproduct.php?product=1527
Huge RCI-2970 with a heatsink on the bottom that nearly doubles its size. |
