which shocks to run w/ RE 3.5" SUPER-RIDE W/REAR SPRINGs

Decided on the RE 3.5" SUPER-RIDE W/ new rear leafs. My question is on what shocks i should be getting to retain as smooth of a ride as possible. This is my DD and I will do many road trips with it. Will do some offroading but not looking to have a super-tight ride, thats why i went with the super-ride rather than the super-flex system. Anyhow, I realize there are a lot of choices when it comes to shocks and i dont need to stick with RE. If i do stick with RE I'm at least going for the twin tub for 199. Best recommendations?

Everyone is going to recommend OME shocks for the best ride. Everyone says that the RE twintube suck really bad and the RE mono's are too stiff, so just go with the OME. The others like the DT3000's, Ranchos, etc are going to be looked down upon as well. OME for the best ride I guess

Well I'm glad I got a good answer, was kinda hoping I didn't need to go with OME just because of the price, but you get what you pay for so...I guess it all goes back to the whole 'do it right the first time' things. I can put off my lift for another month or so i guess. Hell the shocks are almost as much as the entire lift kit itself (and thats with new leafs!). I'm sure ill be happy with the end result though. thanks

you could always just lift it and use no shock! lol Just playin', yeah i know if I do follow that rule of doing it right the first time usually I end up braking something at an unfortunate time where I have no more play money. It should be worth it though
