Shock replacement

It would be my first time replacing shocks, is it something I could tackle on my own?

depends on your experience level. it is not very hard.

search around, there are plenty of writeups.

if you have rust, or live somewhere they salt the roads, you will want to hit the bolts with PB blaster the night before.

The process of replacing shocks is pretty straightforward, and can be completed in under an hour. That is if everything goes smoothly. Rear upper shock mount bolts are known to snap. I snapped all 4. There are several ways to resolve this.

As mentioned, use the search box. Top left corner of every jeepforum page

Just be sure to wear safety goggles lest a bolt drop while doing the upper rears and scratch your new glasses

Not that *I* would know anything about that :/
