scratches chin

might be getting a 90 2 door with a motor that is just starting to go south.looks around garage and sees Xj rear 4 link and dana 60 axle .looks around harder and sees some coil overs that go to said 4 link.scratches chin a bit harder looks a bit more .finds boxes full of stroker parts...........remembers still has over heated 95 block sitting in yard......with complete harness and 4.0 stick computer.

Sits and types a response about how he also feels the narrative approach is kinda odd yet somehow a smile comes to his face as he types the response...

So, back to the unibody side of the fence eh

You planning on plating this one before it gets too crazy?

Wil, I thought you were using all the suspension parts for the TJ built you were doing. Did you ever finish it or did you scrap that one? I would love to see you build up another XJ and put the camanche back on it.

ya i fell back on the unibody simply because i had to sell the Tj tub and some of the parts off earlier this fall.the Xj is free to a good home kind of thing.so you really can't beat free.i need something to go wheel i'm going nuts.

as for plating i think its going to come down to building a sub frame for the drive train to run on.the body will just be a shell for the most part.this way once it gets all beat up i can go get a new body for it .

It'll be good to see you in an XJ again Wil. The forum lost a good source of knowledge when you posted less frequently.

Last time I saw a pic of that Jeep, it (or what was left of it) was on the trailer going for its final ride. Glad to see you found another one Wil.
