I put OME stuff on the Tacoma I just sold and it was a huge improvement over stock. I REALLY wanted to go OME on my Cherokee, but by the time I added the things to it that I needed to get to 4.5" it became an iffy proposition. I ended up going BDS. I'm on UpCountry suspension now so that 4.5" is really about 3" from where I am now.

If all was looking for was 3" from stock I'd go OME in a heartbeat.

Either way i think you'll be happy. You'll get more lift out of the RE springs, they are both quality.

i voted for old man emu and here is why..

rubicon express is a more geared towards being functional offroad, where as old man emu has a reputation for being the best on-road riding lift kit out there. i am not saying that just because it is a comfortable ride it isn't capable, just saying that if you aren't even wheeling then why not get the kit that is better for what you are going to be doing with your jeep, driving it on the pavement.

Either one will be fine, esspecially if you are putting OME shocks on the RE kit.

I think both are great lifts, but i would have to choose ome in your situation because of the onroad ride quality
