Here's a cool video of how to install a SYE in a TJ, some of the external stuff is different, but it will give you a good idea on how to do it without taking the whole thing out.

I hosted it on my webspace, so just right click and save as

SYE install vid

Wow, that was an awesome video. The process is a LOT more complex than I had thought. But looks like it just may be doable.

Thanks for the vid!

I don't know. I've read a few DYI's and obviously watched the video posted above and to me it seems pretty straight foward...just need time, patience and a clean work space.

I hit teh NOS when I was at like 100 and my speedo bent around like 3 times, I guess I was going like 300 mph. It felt like I was sitting still, I ran out of road but luckily I was going so fast that I hit a bump and took off. I guess the Supra wing really helped out, luckily I landed in a lake and my wheels were spinning so fastz that I scrambled across it like those crazy scandanavians with their 4x4s that walk on wata. I go off of the lake just in time to hit a dirt field right before my flux capacitor quite.[/quote]

Yea I got to go buy a set still. Maybe later at Sears since I broke my Craftsman 1/2" to 3/8" adaptor this weekend.

LOCKRING pliers! You do need snap ring pliers I think, but LOCKRING pliers are what you really need, and you need the biggest set you can find.

I'm suprised your rear end isnt sitting higher...usually the full packs give a little bit of a rake for a while
If those are the twin-tubes they are upside down. mine actually had "this end up" stamped on each shock.

Front license plate is a bit crooked.
lol Nice, clean and my favourite green! Lookin' good Lewis!

No they are the monotube shocks and are installed the correct way as they only installed one way. Regardless they work either way according the paper work that came with the shocks.

And the plate...yes isn't straight. The plastic plate bracket is deformed so yea thats the reason why...I've already tried straightening it.

To much!!!....just over $2k and change with tires and wheels along with all the extras for the lift. Yea crazy I know but I didn't buy everything all at once. I spread it out over the last year so its not so bad as doing it all at once.

Yea...the rain today will do some of it for me. LOL I will wash it this coming weekend if the weather is OK but again I'm not driving it as for all the crazy vibes so it hasn't really bothered me yet.
