Rough Starts

The ol' jeep has been starting a little weird the past few days. In the morning when I crank it it will start really really fast. Then other times it cranks and starts normally. And then sometimes it cranks longer than normal and once it starts it feels rough and has white exhaust coming from the tail pipe. Once I give it some gas it starts running normal.

Any ideas before it decides to not start one day and leaves me stranded?

Thanks!

Seems like a possibility. It seems strange that after it sits over night that it will fire up really quick. If the check valve was leaking fuel back into the tank wouldn't my start ups in the morning take longer because it would have to pump fuel back into the fuel line?

Could be a leaky injector dribbling fuel into the cylinder when its warm.

just a guess

No I haven't. It hasn't left me stranded anywhere yet so I haven't been forced to fix it yet. And I didn't get any good ideas on where to start from the forum. I'll post back here if I figure anything out.
