Just wanted to say Ryan's XJ is awesome. One of my favorites now. How well does it do on the street? (ride quality & power wise I mean) Are you still running the stock gears?

Ryan, mine are 3/16" mate. I think most are 3/16" unless they are home made, then who knows
![]() If those bolts had 1/4" of adjustment on either side, you would be set IMHO. Martin

Thanks man! I do still have the stock gears (sadly) I drive it about 70mi round trip about 6 days a week. Power wise I am doing research on turbo kits I saw a video of a TJ with one and I think I need it.....I tell the wife that if I do the turbo kit it will have the power when I need it and when I cruise it will sip gas .........then she gives me this stupid look and says " yea right Ryan....you have a lead foot".....busted.

Cool thanks Martin! I will see if they have cleared the infected TJ's out of R&D and try to take mine apart and see what works.

I would forget the turbo and go with the gears. You will get more power and better fuel economy with the correct gears, those turbo's take too long to wind up and don't perform well with undergeared rigs.

I will be regearing also. I had a turbo VW Gti and with the right turbo setup it will be sweet. But that is a ways down the road......still trying to put the wife through school.

i like this kit very much, after i see how the transmission mount bolts are taken care of youll probably have another customer here.
good job so far. My buddy has one of your kits on his YJ, and i have to say it was complete and went together easy.

Okay, I thought you were gonna just go with the turbo and stock gears. All the extra horsepower from the turbo is useless when you can't get the engine up into the rpm range to acheive boost. Turbo+gearing=fun.

ha I don't take it as clogging it up. the kit works great on the 4.5 on my brothers. Are you wondering like a 3ish inch kit? I don't see any problems with doing that. We have not tested it but I can have them do it to make 100% sure.
