the only thing is... arent those holes you made supposed to slide front to back? but that solution not only recesses the bolts but also fixes my problem, the pop it bolt on the transfercase is in the way of mounting the transfercase skid... and it needs to be up a little higher, so that the skid can be bolted on. and that plate would move it up.

no ,when I test fit the crossmember the trans mount bolts were a good quarter inch off to the left so i centered up the brackets I made and gave a little adjustment left or right.I think its a good set up and well worth the money I just wanted to change the trans mount bolts to aviod any future problems I may run into.Yes the marker lines are going to be a cut out for the trans drain plug but I am gonna do one last test fit tomorrow to make sure its neededthen hopfully if the weather is ok I will install it all for good.

yes, they are off a bit, but you are supposed to push it over. it fits trust me. no need to "re-locate" the bolt holes. but recessing them is a good idea.

I couldnt push the trans over that far iI would have had to use a pry bar to get it to work and I didnt feel confortable doing that so i made my brackets that way so i could keep everything in factroy locations.

you should have been able to move it 1/4 an inch either way?? oh well, at least you got it working. my crossmember went on no problems, but my transfercase skid isnt working out, they say they are fabbing up a new one for me... hope so!!

Other than the transfercase skid problem, what are your thoughts??? Have you tested it out at all yet???

i have once for about an hour at a somewhat easy place. flexed well, rides pretty good. i really have nothing to compare it to tho, its my first lifted vehicle. but i am pretty sure its worth the money, i mean most companies out there dont even sell their long arm upgrade for what you can get this whole kit for. customer service is excelent, every problem i have had has been fixed and compensated for. overall i am very pleased with rough country.

How does it ride compared to stock, is the important question.
