A few follow up questions!

1. I've heard in the past RC lifts ride stiff. Some people say lacks flex. Not to worried about sloppy flex being a DD. Just looking for comfort. ( i'm guessing flex is okay since the black truck is missing a fender flare in only some photo's. LOL

2. I cant find anything on the new Shocks. I'm sure they are good but what are they comparable too. Who makes them?

Just wondering if I should buy the long arm upgrade and my own springs & Shocks.

Is RC gonna offer stiffeners since they've gone this far, and will they adapt to their rock sliders.

Who make the SYE & the Driveshaft upgrades?

RC has come a LONG way in this department. The 2.2 are awesome! I upgraded my kit with them when they first came out and it made the world of difference. I dont have anything but the old shocks to compare them to put they are like a little slice of heaven compared to the old wood wagon feeling you got fromthe old ones. As far as flex. I have never had a problem with it. I have short arms installed so not much is too be expected and my rear sway is always attached but I never had a problem with it.

Here is a link to the 2.2 shocks, not really sure of another shock compare it to. As for ride and flex the black Jeep is mine and I drive it about 70 miles every day and I love it.

As for frame stiffeners I don't think you will see those any time soon. The next thing you will see from us is HD steering upgrades........

Cool. Thank for the quick reply. A few years ago would have never considered RC. Stuff looks good these days. Just wish it was four link, but like the price. 8)

I had read the write up. Was looking for a 3rd party review. Don't worry. If I buy the kit it'll be through you. Just comparing apples to oranges. Not that anyone can come near the RC price. I sifted through the Four Wheeler write up. Just never know if its a paid advertising. I know the components are to my standards. Really looking for a ride review. I'm not hitting the trails too much being a DD but wouln't be ashamed to rock a Big *** Rough Country Banner along the side like you have. LOL.

Cant wait. Just getting back on my feet after 2 layoffs. If the guys that owed me money ever came through I could buy Rough Country. Not Really, but would be able to build a sick ride, and do some cool stuff to the house. Looking forward to reviews. Send your work info so I have it when I'm ready.

one of the front leaf spring bolts gave me the biggest problem so far. the bolt goes into a welded lug in the unibody and the bolt actually rusted to the sleeve inside of the bushing and broke. so i cut up the stock leaf spring and bushing then cut the bolt out. but the end that stayed in the truck also busted the welds that held the lug onto the truck. so i had to cut the frame rails to get it out, now we are going to have to weld some plate back up over the frame rails... talk about an aggrevating day!!!

spray every damn bolt down with pb blaster, and save money for drill bits. you will need three, all odd sizes and they are expensive. especially the 25/32 drill bit

Good point.... Didn't think about the drill bits. Hmm, does anyone know where I would be able to pick them up? Maybe order them online when I order the Long arms?

Thanks for the reply!

Four Wheeler Magazine hooked up the 4 1/2 and loved I dont know if any posted it so I thought I would and to quote "When it's all said and done the Rough Country kit delivers and it does so at an attractive price."

Still saving for one I am at 450 and counting
