Rough Country 4.5 Axle Question

I'm seeing that the axle choices for the 4.5" XJ lift kit only includes the D35 and Chrysler axle. How can I make this work on my D44?

The only difference is the "U" bolt's. Just upgrade to the correct U bolts for the rear axle and you'll be fine...

Aren't the D44 tubes the same size as the d35? I know the 8.25 won't work.

Well technically the 44 axle is 2.76" in diameter and the 35 is 2.64' in diameter. You should be able to call up Rough Country and have them send you Dana 44 U-bolts

That's it??

My D44 is visibly way larger in DIA than my D35??

I haven't measured it but I can't imagine 0.10" being that visibly noticeable??
