Roof Rail Question

Hi, Im currently looking at buying a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4X4 with 75000 miles and very well maintained. However it does not have any roof rails and my question is how difficult is it to install them? Do you think its worth it to get the jeep since its in excellent condition and just install the rails?

thanks.

It's not easy to install the factory rails.
My suggestion would be to add aftermarket gutter mounted roof rack if you really want one.
That mounting point is stronger than the factory rack.
Click the link in my sig for how I did mine, same thing, no factory rack.

You didn't specify...does it have the threaded plugs already drilled and mounted in the roof, just no rails and crossbars installed? Or is there nothing at all? If the plugs are already there, it's easy as pie to add rails and crossbars. If there's nothing, go with ben1.8t's suggestion. There are some decent and affordable rain gutter mount racks out there, just use the ole' google system to find them. Post pics when you're done!
