Reverse light problem
Ok... so the guy told me that the reverse lights don't work on my XJ when I bought it. I was cool with that. But, last night they were working. Now, they're not working. And so far, once they have come on after I was in the middle of backing up.
I'm thinking some kind of sensor or something. Any ideas? Or anyone else ever had this problem?

Could be a marginally dirty NSS. Take a length of wire and jump the connector ar posts:
A and E ![]() With key in the ign in ON postion, the lights should come on when jumped. If they do, time to remove and clean the NSS. Coupel of wriet ups in the Tech/FAQ sticky on eth trans transfer case page.
