when taking out the old headlights and putting new ones in do you need to readjust them or do they just go back into the same position as the previous ones.

Upgrade your headlight harness too. It has a huge impact on light output.

Look up autopal enclosure eautoworks harness.

I've been running this upgrade with 55/100w bulbs for a while now. I can see dear hundreds of yards away on the back roads(on high beams). Insanely good mod.

You can look at the headlights too hard sometimes and they will move out of alignment ;)
It never hurts to check them so you might as well do it, especially if the new housings are different than (from?) the old ones (pattern wise). Rock them around a bit to verify they are seated where you think they are too as I've had them shift out of place after hitting bumps.

On a side note, has anyone noticed that sometimes getting the LOW beams aligned properly makes the highbeams point to the sky??
