Blacksmith,

Got a question for you. I have replaced my rear floor pans, and the floor pans behind the driver and passenger seat already. I can't do it like you did, as mine is my daily driver. I am getting ready to replace the front floor pans on the driver and passenger side. Could I do that without removing the whole dash? Is there room for that?

Blacksmith, thanks for the advice on the dash. I was able to replace the passenger side without removing the dash.

My next question is about the driver's side. Will I be able to do it without removing the pedals? Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to body work. I did all the easy parts first, and now I am down to the last floorboard.

I need to remember this thread

It looks like March 2009 was the last time there was any activity on this thread, so its kind of dead. I just want a way to find it later when I need to have guidance doing such repairs on my jeep. I don't have the time to read 70 pages now, but its good to know its there.

Just in time, I am doing it this weekend!

Thanks again for all the advice. Hopefully after finishing the floor panels I can move on to fun things, like a SYE and exhaust.

I post on a pretty regular, just not a lot to update. I got a couple blurry phone pics of it being covered in wet mud after I drove to a spray and wash. Spent the 5 hours prior to that digging out of something I needed 40's to get through. damn massive ruts.
